For more than 20 years, I have been writing, editing, and pulling together publications for organizations large and small. I take pride and pleasure in finding the best way to convey a message.

I write for a wide variety of newspapers, magazines, and online publications, such as the Washington Post, Washingtonian, Woman's Day, and Discovery.com.

Editing clients have included Science News, the World Bank, the Brookings Institution, and Washingtonian.

I turned to freelancing after five years of running a defense magazine and a year managing a trade association magazine on internal medicine. In addition to writing and editing, I've served as a long-term temp for several D.C. magazines (Washingtonian, Mortgage Banking, Europe, Campaigns & Elections,  and ProSales). Most recently, I was the freelance managing editor for an educational magazine on biotechnology called Your World.

I'd be delighted to have you contact me with questions or projects after you've looked at my background and work.

Occasionally I work in tandem with my husband, who in his full-time working life is a copyeditor at the Washington Post.

Here is Jeff Baron's resume.
